Go ahead and describe what you need in the way of performance from your VCO. I feel certain that one or more of our members has had first hand experience with this type of circuit.

Hi,

Look up the spec sheet for an ICL8038. If it does what you want, order an NTE864 from Mouser Electronics. Sorry, the 8038 is out of production, but the NTE device is a replacement. This gives you sine, square and triangle outputs.

If you only need square wave output, then there are literally dozens of VCO's available.
