I have FireFox and I just got the VideoDownloadHelper for it.

I go into Tools Customize and a screen with all the Tool Bar Options opens.

You can Drag what you want to the Menu Bar but I do not see VideoDownloadHelper here.

If I go into Settings and Exten I see it here and it says Enabled.

Can anybody help?

I can't find a Tools/Customise option on my Windows10/Firefox116.0.2. What OS/Firefox version are you running?

I have the 64 Bit FireFox and Win11 I do not know what Screen Shot you want?

Let me tell you what is going on.

Say I go to YouTube and I look up a Video on something.

First I play it then stop it.

On the Top Right Hand Side of my Browser is an Arrow not the 3. Balls you would see for VideoDownloaderHelper.

I click the Arrow and a Drop Down comes Down with the Title of the name of the Video I was playing.

So I thing all I have to do is click it and it will Download it or open a list of other Res. Formats I would like.

Nothing like this happens.

I got this PlugIn from the FireFox Tools Menu that lets you Type in a PlugIn and get it and FireFox Installs it.

So Is good and it did have the 3. Balls Logo.

Any thoughts on this?

On the right-hand side of the toolbar you should have an icon looking like a jigsaw piece. That's where the extensions can be accessed. So VideoDownloadHelper should be accessible there.
I don't use that extension so have no knowledge of its behaviour.

You are Right I see a JigSaw Icon.

I Click it and it opens all the Addons.

I see VideoDownloadHelper.

I can not Drag it to the Menu Bar and I think I have it Enabled.

Is the Right or Left Enabled for the Toggle?

I see the TS telling us about a problem but never describing what they actually want to achieve.
If the goal is to actually save a copy of the video being viewed, that is not part of the yootoob business plan and so it is not possible. Firefox is not going to provide you with a way to get free stuff that is protected.
The websites that sell videos will have a way to enable the feature after you pay for the product.

And presently it seems that firefox is also protecting those who have ad-blockers protecting their emails. Thus I am now using google chrome as my email after ff stopped allowing me email access.
Evidently " IT IS all about the money."

I have no clue about this particular add on, but in general there are many YouTube downloaders available including standalone applications. It is not only possible to download YouTube videos, it is a common practice.

Well I always Download How To Videos Off YouTube and Watch them on my PC.

This may help if I move my Dot to the Left the Box turns White and the Dot turns Black.

Now if I move my Dot to the Right the Box turns Black and the Dot turns White.
