Hi I need a help on vhdl programming

I'm currently working on an electrical snooker score board. I need to display the scores on 7 segments for both players using a 3x4 keypad to enter the values. I’m using Xilinx cool-runner evaluation board to program the system. The display for each player consists of three common anode 7 segments in order to show the values from 0-999, and also I will be using a switch button from the cool-runner board as a method of switching players during the game. I have written some codes but I can’t get my hade around it.
any help is appreciated
