Hi,

Bought an ESP32 main board and it appears to be 9 slots wide. My breadboard is 10 slots wide which means I cannot access one side of the main board. Google only for a bit I see breadboards are 10 wide.

I this true? or am I misunderstanding how breadboards work.

Thanks
Iain

It could be so. There are a few breadboards sizes, but not many. I have a couple of breadboards side by side to fit the ESP32 boards.

Welcome to AAC!

If I understand your question, they used to make solderless breadboards with a 0.6" channel to accommodate DIP packages of that width.

If you can't find any, another option is to make an adapter board that will work with the typical 0.3" channel.

If you cannot find a wide enough breadboard, use a piece of strip board to make a much narrower adapter. Simple and doesn't cost much.
