Hy I am new here. If possible I would like to ask for your help. I need to understand basic electronics of vending machines.
Could you please tell me where should I start and what topics should I look into?
I am not looking to become an engineer, but I need to learn the basics to be able to comunicate with one.

I would start with Coinco which makes much of the electronics found in modern vending machines. The manuals on this page have lots of information about the various coin/bill acceptors, card readers etc.

Apparently most vending machines use a communications protocol known as MDB (Multi-Drop Bus), which is an open standard. You might want to download that document and get familiar with it.

Your best bet is to go out and buy one that does what you want. Check out Alibaba for one that is close to what you want and then contact the manufacturer for customization. If you're not an engineer or computer programmer, it will take you forever to work through a protocol document like this.

Seems you have a decision to make.
A) Sell a delicious $3 baguette from a commercially available vending machine, or,
B) Sell a $0.50 wonder bread loaf from a machine that doesn't exist yet.

I dont know where you live but where I live that wonder bread type cost around 4.1 Us dollars per 670 grams, if bought at a supermarket chain.
