Apparently we need to "validate" our "likes" with an extra "

It feels like I'm using the earliest forum software ever.

OH, and I cannot even post an inline image. Please click the link below to view the screenshot of the like validation screen.

Uploading an image is a new challenge as well. I'll let you guys see for yourselves. Also let me know if this is a safari iPad thing or a Universally implemented "new feature" - so never mind on the screenshot!

I was able to like your post without confirmation.

That either means the mods trust my opinion implicitly or that you are just so darn likeable, your posts need no confirmation. ;)

Apparently I'm on some type of extra secret probation.

I selected "like" on your post

Fortunately the software offered me a way out of such an embarrassing choice.

Whew!
I'm so glad you had a chance to recover. Imaging your political foes using that against you when you run for an officer position in your neighborhood homeowners association. I'm sure your opponent would have "made hay" with an action of Liking one of my posts. It would have been the end of that campaign.

I was f#ching around

Only thing I see when I select like is the addition of my screen name saying I liked a particular post.

I would imagine it is a forum coding error in interfacing with your OS

I post files with no problems.

I can "like" posts with no problems and so did with your OP. Immediately after the button changes to "Unlike".

I am free to "like" as I please. I always took this freedom for granted. Perhaps this is some social experiment to educate us on certain "privileges" we have and are unaware of.

I was getting the confirmation screen for a while after the site changes a while back. I had other more serious problems at the time, like being unable to post from either my iPhone or MacBook. Was it around New Years ? Can't recall. But anyway that went away and now it's just a simple like or unlike with a single click. I have no idea how it got fixed but it wasn't me.

It started about 4-hours ago. The issue has passed.
