In the Valence and Crystal structure page http://www.allaboutcircuits.com/vol_3/chpt_2/3.html there are some larger elements missing.
Is this done on purpose, to keep things simple?
Or is this done becouse most of them are radio active and instable?
For instance The group VIIIA elements is missing Radon.

Although I don't know the exact reason Tony wrote this section the way he did (and I'm sure he wouldn't remember if we asked him!), from reading the section it is written such to keep the section concise and clear whilst illustrating the key points of donators/acceptors in the Valance shell, whilst focusing on the main groups that are of (currently) important in semiconductor theory.

It is a conceptual chapter rather than an all-binding one.
