Hi.
Im new with electronics, sorry if my question is super simple or nonsense but anyways.
I have an all in one sound system and the ss34 diode better known as 1n5822 is damaged.
Where I live I can only found the ss56 60v/5A, so I wonder if I can replace the ss34 with the ss56, even though the ss34 is 40v/3A and the ss56 is 60V/5A.

Usually not a good idea to go lower. Higher maybe, lower probably not. Do the math on the circuit and see if there is any leeway in the overhead. And Welcome to AAC! You might post a circuit diagram for comment so we know exactly what may work.

Sometimes my brain just doesn't work right.

Look at your circuit and what is the diode doing. If it is limiting do not go higher. If it is passing then you can go higher..

The SS34 is the recovery diode in a switching power supply.
Revised comment:
The SS56 has a slightly higher Vfwd than the SS34; that may (or may not) make use of the SS56 problematic. It is possible that the SS56 will function acceptably but that cannot be guaranteed.
