I read some posts on stack exchange years ago about something like this and was wondering if anyone with USB protocol knowledge knows the feasibility of this. The concept is USB device is plugged into "interceptor" device that mimics USB device on the destination PC (USB identifier info ans such). The device can record the in/out data going from the device. It is kind of like a network sniffer but an external device. I've seen software but not stand alone devices.
