Hello,

I am using iMX6ULL processor for one of our project. Processor is having 2 USB ports which are dedicated for other purpose. I need one more for USB keyboard. Previuosly I was planned to use cp210X IC for converting USB to UART, but it can act as device , not Host.

So please is there any other low cost option " to Convert USB to UART " for keyboard purpose Or suggest other interface IC also.

One scenario:
Connect USB keyboard to Arduino USB Host Shield, connect the host shield to Arduino Uno, connect Uno using UART to iMX6ULL.

A Chinese Uno is about 4 USD from ebay.
A Chinese host shield is about 7 USD from ebay.
