I'm in need of some bulkhead USB connectors. Making several metal boxes with some USB devices inside, so need an elegant way to get the signals from outside to inside.

Anyone have a source for something relatively inexpensive (<$5USD) ?

(I'm still looking into what size is best, but adaptors do abound.)

Unlikely you'll find something with environmental protection for under $5.00

 

No environmental issues, standard office setting, but I do prefer a connector on each end. It is to bring an internal USB device's plug to the outside of the box, and I like to be neat.

I did find these but only at the manufacturer. Hope our buyers can deal with that:
