Advertised on ebay, and have my doubts. Shows a microphone and speaker

A microphone that small has to be an electret, hasn't it ?
How is that supposed to work wet ? Or is it another marketing plot ? What is your opinion ? Could it ever work ? Is there any electret in the market that can work submerged ?

I think in this case waterproof simply means if you drop it into the toilet it won't be ruined. There are too many things that are that are exposed. Screws, power connection, Lens extension?, microphone, it just doesn't look waterproof. Normally a truly waterproof device will have at what depth max it is rated for. Also usually enclosed in a separate or specially designed waterproof housing. Some guys were using GoPro's offshore with an attached cable and dropping them onto a fishing spot to see what was down there in live streaming mode with a topside viewing screen. I am talking less than 80-foot depth.
