For a two-state system in which the low energy level is 600 cal/mol, the high energy level iis 1800 cal/mol, and T = 300 K, what is the partition function q?

Attempt:

\(q = e^{-600/(300 \cdot R)} + e^{-1800/(300 \cdot R)} = 0.4143\)

Correct answer: 1.135
