I have been asked by my brother to look at his TV bed. The lift is stuck in the up position. I have stripped it down. The motor is a wiper motor and the power supply box is getting power in but I need to test the power leaving the transformer. I can't find the power though. Thanks

 

First unplug from the mains, and with an ohm meter, measure the resistance across the power plug pins to check if the transformer is open. That is a fairly common occurrence. A lot of transformers have a thermal fuse built in and that blows.
Speaking of fuses, have you checked the fuses in the holders?
