TV Antenna Amplifier

I have an amplified blade TV antenna similar to this one:

Someone yanked on the cord and broke the USB power port, both the male and female sides. I think both connectors are toast but that's OK because I'm fine with hardwiring the power to the PCB. I can see where ground likely connects but it's less obvious where to connect +5V. Ideas? Can I safely ignore the data pins or do they need to get tied to something?

Maybe the trace between the "C" of DC and the diode D2 is where +5VDC goes?

Great! That's what I was thinking but I wasn't sure. Your note and the likes gave me the confidence to go ahead and try it. Thanks.

It worked! Although the +5V trace is still there and possibly workable, I attached +5V directly to the diode lead. It's bigger, solid and easier to solder to. I attached ground to the solder pads of the antenna input for the same reason - big, solid and easier to solder to.

Full over-the-air TV joy restored!

I admire the fortitude of those who can watch over-the-air TV with those long, boring, mostly insipid, commercials that continually break up whatever is being watched.
I can't do it.
I totally get that. Most of my 'serious' watching is AppleTV or Prime and when you get used to that, it's excruciating to go back to network TV.

But I usually multi-task while those shows are on. Commercial break? Fire off an email, fold some laundry, read news online, etc.

Some years ago my wife got a set of DVDs with the Seinfeld series, all commercial-free. That makes each episode something like just 22 minutes instead of 30. I was impressed how much better they 'flow' and how much more enjoyable it was to watch. It was a pleasure to watch 3 in a row. All those ads really spoil the experience.

I do watch network TV and sport's channels that have commercials, but only after it's been recorded (on YouTube TV) so I can fast-forward through the commercials (still have annoying interruptions but they only last a few seconds).
