Hello friends
Good day for you all
I am looking for any ideas to repair my treadmill control board. Will brief all what I have done till now.
I found motor winding was burned out so I replaced the motor with used one
Now regarding the board I have checked the main parts found IGBT shorted, bridge rectifier shorted and 560 uf not in a good look from top, all of that was replaced
IGBT number is STGW20NC60VD, actually I replaced this transistor with MOSFET with the samed parameters ( I think this was stupidity) I connected the motor without fixing it to the body of treadmill( another stupidity) and pushed start button
The motor started very fast and fall on the ground
Then I removed the motor wires and connected a multimeter to + and - of board found zero volts , I ordered the correct IGBT and installed it, now when I push start button I hear relay going on and I read 326 volts Dc on board out terminals
For 16 seconds then relay turns off and volts drps to 12 volts and treadmill gives E2 ,
I followed the board components to the gate of IGBT found ( 22ohm resistor and to small transistors and capcitos then coming from 18 pin IC PWM . I stopped her and no more ideas came to my mind to test I will attach the board photo to help any one can offer new suggestions to sole this problem. I will not connect the motor again unless I have a reasonable output voltage to start motor slowly at the start of treadmill. Thanks in advance.
