We transported car through from NZ to Australia. Dismantled maximum and battery. Car arrived and I assembled it however speaker was not working. While playing with the wires I accidentally touched each wire with metal and I smell something burnt and whole car went off. Not turning on. Charger is sending power to battery as charger light changes color. What could be the fault t how to Fix?

 

Remove circuit boards, look for any component burnt or discoloured, would need WAY more info to give any kind of definitive answer!!

Which wires did you short and what do they go to? Do you see any components that look or smell burnt?

Don't see anything here what could be burnt and smell was for few seconds only. Images shows that free floating yellow wire touched over the speaker and next image shows that wire goes somewhere under that switchboard.

accidentally is touching one... touch each and every one is systematic.

It's unlikely that a battery operated toy would have an earth ground.

I have no idea that's the wire one end of which not attached anywhere and never been attached.

 

Was the car dismantled for shipping and re-assembled on arrival? Any drawings made?
Or is there any Instructions that came with it on assembly etc?
If you have a 'Spare' wire left over, it sounds like an omission of some kind!

I made a video of it before dismantling and saw this wire was unattached before as well and car was working fine and remember this was the same when I bought it. At dismantling from this section I only separated battery.
