I am looking to transmit and receive some data via Ethernet from my PC to a device I am working on, and also receive data from the device.
I am looking for a terminal program that can do this, and wondered if anyone had any suggestions for the best programs to use for free?
I will also most likely want to transmit other forms of data in future such as USB, RS-232, RS-485 and CANBUS.
Initially I am just looking to send and/or receive basic data such as a single letter or boolean value.
If anyone can recommend some good software from the PC side of things to send and receive the data it would be much appreciated.
