Hi

I need a schematic circuit for the following problem:

The equivalent circuit of a transducer that measures the speed of a motor is a current source in parallel with an output resistance. The current source produces an output current of 1μA per revolution/second of the motor and the output resistance is 50kΩ. Design a discrete transistor circuit that produces a full-scale output of 10V for a maximum motor speed of 60 revolutions/second. The nominal transistor current gain is β = 100 with tolerances of ±30%. The accuracy of the output signal is to remain within ±1%. Pls help. Thanks.

Hello,

Is this a home-work or college assignment?
If so, what hava you already calculated for the transducer.
Must the amplifier be made with a transistor or is an opamp also allowed?

Hi

This is a college assignment. The amplifier must be made with transistor only. As I don't know how to get started, I am not able to make any calculation for the transducer.
