I picked up a Bauhn atv55uhd-1217 TV on the side of the road and looking to have a crack at repairing it.

So far it's visible that there was a short that burnt out a few SMD resistors, a capacitor and maybe a transistor.

I've got plenty of experience working with PCBs but limited experience soldering smd components (done a couple, botched a few).
Would it be worth tracking down these components and fixing it up before resorting to buying a new motherboard OR should I just go straight for the motherboard? The SMD components are the only thing that are giving me uncertainty.

As per the schematic (attached) the SMD components are: RB305, CB303, RB303, RB304. Anyone able to tell me what the values on these are?

Replacement options are:

Which route did you go down for the repair/replacement?

I can help you. Your post sent me to the correct part of the board to look for problems. I only have one SMD fried. I also have 2 other working screens so hopefully I can find a number on the burnt device. Please reply to me if you still need assistance.
