Sounds awesome, a mint julep basically. But I'm not sure what a "part" is when there's nothing else measured in parts. Two shots would be about right.
Oh, and it called for a tbsp of syrup, I did it and it seemed a bit much. Old # 7 is already sweet and syrupy, so the second glass I just did a dab, I'm wondering how Orange bitters would taste with it?

I'll give it a try tonight, it went well with the halved chicken breasts and herb pasta. The chicken was done with garlic herb parmesan seasoning.

Double IPA from Florida. Pretty bad taste and texture. 10% alcohol...whiskyish flavor.
I don't like drinks with more than 6% alcohol in them ... too rough for my taste ... and as for IPA's, I'm very fond of them, but doubling the taste of hops would be overdoing it, I think.

Here's a drink I had yesterday night:

It tastes nothing like a beer, and more like a cooler. But it was surprisingly refreshing (for weather such as Monterrey's), and had a delicious lemony flavor.

I think the original recipe's for IPA have strayed quite a bit off the mark now.;)
Just tasting one of the latest brews, a chocolate Stout, includes Chocolate, Honey and Candi (beet) sugar additives.
22 Litres English Brown ale and 44 litres of Blonde Lager ready to bottle tomorrow.
(We don't deliver):p
Max.

Also, nice glass! Bellhaven is one of my favorite brands.

Whisky tasting using a bimetallic nanoplasmonic tongue

https://www.theguardian.com/society...lop-artificial-tongue-to-detect-fake-whiskies

Being palmed off with a young whisky when expecting an 18-year-old single malt can be a glass-half-empty moment. But now scientists have developed an “artificial tongue” that might make such skulduggery a thing of the past.

The team, based in Scotland, say their device can be used to tell apart a host of single malts – a move they say might help in the fight against counterfeit products.
