My question is, why?
In my younger days I used to drink a little too much ... now I just don't like feeling too much of a buzz, it's like I have an internal fuse that goes off after one too many drinks (which is not a lot nowadays, thankfully) ... that has been quite a blessing, because the first sip I give to a good drink usually tastes like heaven ... imagine if all of the consecutive sips tasted like that!

Oh wow @Aleph(0), you may have just revealed your age. No one has been reading either of those "for the articles" or just about any other reason for what, two decades?

edit - I'm aware they continued to exist long after they became walking dead
Wayneh being a straight woman I don't know but I guess internet _soured_ hard-copy _eye candy_ trade big time;)

I do enjoy the taste of my adult alcoholic beverages.
Joeyd999 being totally serious, other than alcohol, ALL bourbon and scotch tastes like water wrung out of wet newspaper to me:eek:

Alcohol interferes with sleep quality.
Weyneh it interferes with my _sleep habits_ too in totally different way:eek::oops:

I have an internal fuse that goes off after one too many drinks
Cmartinez I'm like that too! Only for me it's more like self-resetting circuit breaker with like 10ns time constanto_O

Sorry, haven't been here in awhile. But have you tried Lagavulin 16? To imply that is not much better than liquid expressed from a wet diaper/newspaper is apostasy.

We all know the penalty for that.

@jpanhalt being honest I don't think I've ever tried _Lagavulin 16_ but fwiw I always assumed _papery_ flavor of Scotch and Bourbon had 2 do with it being aged in charred oak casks?

So I promise 2 give your suggestion a try but being honest I don't expect 2b pleasantly surprised:(

apostasy.

No worries! Cuz I can only burn once and I wager Scotch will take care of that:p!

Tonight the wife and I are home enjoying the New Years Begin. However, on another note: We enjoyed a little after dinner, Dark Chocolate imbibe, infused with tonights Libation.

Happy New Year All.

Tonight, the wife pissed me off. Not a good harbinger for the new year.

I turned my daughter on to Vampire Wine, she loves it. I wait till it goes on sale and purchase a few bottles for folks who drink wine. I'm not a wine person, it has to be a spirit. However, if you say Cognac I will indulge but not to the point of drunk. 2 fingers before or after dinner is enough, getting drunk with it will give you the biggest hangover you'll ever have other than wine.
