I should start taking a Sp.Gravity reading of my brews again and see what they come out at.

Went to the local Brewery yesterday and found out they make a 11% 9% and 7% in a bottle not from the tap. I had no idea until I mentioned I can't drink multiple glasses of 3.2% which is all the provide on tap.

Meanwhile this morning this was hanging on the wall at the Starbucks / Restaurant here at the Uni.........

Took a chance on this from Costco. $16 for case of 24 bottles. Cheaper than a case of Bud Light in cans. Same price as Natual Light in cans. Way better than either of those guys.

This beer is actually very decent for the price point. Imagine Bud Light with more flavor (esp hops). If you drink in volume or you're throwing a party and don't want to break the bank, check it out. If you're a beer snob, maybe just buy a case for a friend with less refined taste, and take one out just for a sample.

I wonder why it took so long for someone to say that LOL. I smoke when I drink, and I don't smoke in the house, so I drink in the garage. Which happens to be the home of the machine tools. I don't risk my fingers.

Ever notice how the drunk driver is rarely the victim of his own stupidity? It's usually the people in the other car. I wonder why. I've been told it's because the drunk doesn't "see it coming" and tense up. I don't buy that.

We had White Russians tonight, so your toast is quite appropriate. But then we moved on to the Buffalo Trace bourbon. I can only take one sweet drink before getting real.

That reminded me of when in the Antarctic campaigns (1970 and 1971), the 4-people crew of every landing boat bringing cargo or people ashore, was allowed one bottle of grappa per shift of 6 hours. Since the carousel of three boats had to keep going continuously, no ill effects. It helped to keep us warm.

I have a lot of things in my liquor cabinet but grappa isn’t one of them.
