Three Phase Induction Motors

I am trying to understand how to calculate the stator current of a three phase star connected induction motor and it has been difficult to find any solutions from online resources. My understanding is I need to find the equivalent circuit impedance to work this out, how do I go about doing this? I have the resistance and induction values of the stator and rotors.

Thank you for your help.

In a AC squirrel cage motor, the stator current is dependent on load and RPM?
The closer it gets to zero slip frequency, (which it can never reach exactly) the lower the current.

The motor current is primarily determined by the load connected to the shaft.
The rest is due to magnetizing current and friction losses.

Also at the point of switch on, a squirrel cage AC motor represents a transformer with a shorted turn secondary due to the rotor 'cage'
