Anyone who has been on this site for a while will recognize that SgtWookie has a unique ability. I like the idea that when a new member gets a response from SgtWookie, they can see immediately that they are receiving advice from an "Expert". SgtWookie deserves it and has earned it. Let us honor him with the title "Expert Member".

I don't know about 150 caliber... they would be awfully heavy...

I think overcharged microfusion cells to power a laser rifle would be more of his style...

Hey guys, Wookie is going to hit 20K any day soon. At the speed he's going it's going be before this week is over. Is the band waiting with the "Expert" ribbon ready?

I agree with expert, and maybe even go so far as a little icon under his name for assistance above and beyond the call of the average contributor.

Like a "Trust me, I'm mostly right" thing.

Perhaps somebody should PM the link to this thread to Dave or jrap? I haven't seen them in a while, but I'm pretty sure they're still on the forum every now and then. Not sure if they have seen this yet or not.

Lol i agree with Rifaa, make Sgt some cool unique member that only people of his demographic can have.

As he already has earned the Super Member status, as Bill said he doesn't want it. He still deserves to stand out from the rest of the Senior Members...

Surley you guys wouldnt want a Senior member like SgtWookie to share the same member ranking of other users such as......Chris15 lol

Hmm, sounds an awful lot like post #12.... :D

if I was visiting the site for the first time, there would be nothing distinguishing the more advanced members with years of experience (Sgt. Wookie, especially) from the younger, school-aged children here who only have one or two years of experience.

Hello,

A ban can be temporary. (hours, days weeks).
This could be seen as a cooldown period, after a conflict.
If the member still is unreasonable, the ban can be made permanent.

Hey bertus...
Ur posts starts with Hello...

Under some threads it's OK and I'll say it is the best way

BUT Under some it's kinda weird.

Nope, he is still banned. It is for a year. Had me going there, with 3rd shift I have trouble keeping track of days of the week. To you it was less than 48 hours ago, to me it was 3 days ago (two sleep schedules).

The thread that put me over the top was the "Drugs" thread. This is an illegal activity, which we do not condone and is a direct violation of TOS. It is an especially illegal activity everywhere in the western world, and mostly everywhere else. In spite of the following discussion it could not be interpreted any other way than I saw it.

I am going to try very hard to make this the last time I refer to him. It is bad form for a moderator to discuss members in public. I'm working on it.
