I maxed out at 6, and at the same time too. As I myself am approaching end of life I refuse to adopt any more, at least more kittens.

If I loose my 3 boys I would consider adopting an elder cat to love during their last days.

 

It had been told that the training procedure with cats was difficult.
It`s not. Mine had me trained in two days.

Having had both dogs and cats, I would take any of the dogs over any of the cats, except the one cat who thought of herself as a dog. A dog that could climb up and walk on the roof but come and when called.

We are never going to live that down. The real issue is not Haitian Voodoo but while these immigrants are legal the real problems are the influx is choking vital city services like hospitals, emergency services and schools. Anyway Springfield, Ohio is pet friendly and no, while animals are sacrificed in Haiti they are not on the menu in Springfield as far as I know.

Oh, I had forgotten you actually live in Ohio, so thanks for that inside information.

I sort of believed the cats and dogs theory (at about 70 percent confidence level) because I knew, or at least had a very good idea, that the influx was causing problems like that, and because the food supply often gets strained as well and a lot of people in the world do actually eat what we call pets, I would not be one bit surprised if they, at some point, would eat animals we would not normally eat. In fact, that is one reason why some people even today eat them in some countries, because their normal food supply runs low. Some eat them only when their normal food supply runs low. So, if that happens somewhere in Ohio or any other state really, I would not be surprised. It may only be now and then, and even rare, but I would not be surprised.

That type of cat is called a Carey Cat, btw

 

Also, from what I've read, that type of cat is 97% female. With the remaining 3% being sterile males.
