Glad to hear you've completed the project to your total satisfaction. You have every right to celebrate... I just can't understand your obsession with Guinness though... it's way too strong a burnt flavor for my taste... I'm gonna stick to Ocho Reales, if you don't mind.

It's about the bubbles, IMHO. I like it from the tap but not so much from a package.
One reason I do not drink Guinness from the can that use the CO2 widget to produce the head, but there is absolutely no carbonation in the beer.
The last Guinness I really enjoyed was some decades ago in UK when they used to bottle it with reasonable carbonation.
I hate flat beer!:eek:
They use CO2 and nitrogen in small amounts.
I had a crack at making it once and gave a friend a blind taste test, mine and the real stuff.
He said it was very good but nothing like the real one, he had picked MINE.:p
