Yes, such speculations are common on the fringes of science, what attracts you to the "theory"?
With respect to this particular conversion, it attempts to provide an explanation as to why and how, as you say, "...it [the universe] changes state over time."

In general, I like to listen to people who think. Especially those who think outside "established" doctrine.

The fringe is where advances come from.

Does the "theory" make any testable predictions? because if not then it really can't be referred to as a theory.

Me too, I admire those who question orthodoxy and dogma but metaphysics should never be mistaken for physics.

And here's some fun related philosophy I recently discovered:

Word salad, did Musk write it?

The point I was referring to about the universe is basically the universe cannot explain the presence of the universe, a thing cannot explain it's own existence, we must look to external causes.

Science explains change not existence, science explains that that exists already, it cannot explain the universe's existence, science cannot explain the existence of laws of nature because all scientific explains require laws in order to even express explanations.

Therefore the explanation for our universe cannot be a scientific explanation.

Well, no. But what is it with you and the personal attacks?

Who hurt you?
I have zero respect for Musk, he's arguably a charlatan, his personal contribution to space engineering or electric car engineering is zero. Yet he is lauded by people who should know better, young minds pick this up and believe what these people tell them about Musk, the scientist, the inventor, the innovator - he is none of those things - he is just rich.

He has become a personality cult, a prudent venture capitalist but that's about it really, some people might need a Musk in their life, I do not.

His ridiculous waffle about Mars should be ridiculed by anyone with even basic science knowledge, but sadly no, many adults who should know better care not for his abuse of science because they are in awe of his wealth and therefore anything he says is fine, be it true or false.

So yes I think its appropriate to attack such highly public people who routinely attack others and attack science and truth.

One doesn't need to be "hurt" to express disapproval of such people.

Fine. Have an opinion.

But...

"Word salad, did Musk write it?"

...is not a rational argument. It just makes you sound stupid, or injured, or both.
