This may be an AI generated image, that someone may actually follow.
As you say, this ain’t a joke.
Possibly AI, but possibly not. It's very likely a staged photo for some purpose and the people that planned it simply know nothing about shooting, but they think that you have to have a rifle scope up against your eye just like you usually do with binoculars , telescopes, and microscopes. We've all seen the photos of some worker at a soldering station holding the soldering iron at the tip like you would a pencil.

Heartbreak Ridge?
Yes and no. It's an unofficial motto of the U.S. Marine Corps, though it's origins in both time and place are unknown (AFAIK). It's a pretty natural cultural mantra, so it probably originated in some battlefield in the spur of the moment by some NCO and then spread by word of mouth. It entered the mainstream awareness because of its use in the movie, though.

Missing is the MIDI and the GPIB interfaces. Well, Centronics parallel, too.

I AM SURE, that I am missing at least half a dozen more.
Oh, there's plenty, plenty more ... starting with DB-9, DB-25, and both in their male and female versions. And nowadays magnetic coupling connectors are all the rage ... I wonder how long the list would be if it were to include all of the most popular commercial connectors starting since the 1960's

Hey, don't forget the DIN connectors on the TRS-80!
