You look where the funding is.I find that a reason to look elsewhere.
.You look where the funding is.
Hi,And what have I said that makes you think I believe this?
I have simply argued that anything outside our light cone is unknowable and unobservable, now and forever.
Aside from that, there are at least infinitely many things that we do not yet know that are fully discoverable -- a minutely small portion of which will be discovered in our lifetimes. These things I look forward to excitedly.
Yes, I know what you mean, but if we look at the historical record again, as each advancement is discovered it seems they are farther and farther apart in time. It could be ages before we know anything absolutely.Who said that?
I have been hoping to see a new discovery in fundamental physics ever since I graduated with my physics degree in 1973. None has come. I still consider it a possibility. That does not mean I believe it will happen in my lifetime.
String theory, dark matter, supersymmetry, quantum gravity, and other things that were speculative then still are now. I actually find that depressing.
Hi,There will be no useful discoveries until the pioneers get out of their tiny bubble
and start taking into consideration "The World of Woo-Woo".
Yes, I dare to go there.
These questions regarding the extent or age of the Universe
are easily put to rest by many of the disciplines that are
off-handedly dismissed by the most advanced "Scientists".
The premise ........
You agreed to be born into a very thick and heavy, Third-Dimension limited, artificial "Matrix" Experience,
and You also agreed to having yourself handicapped by a complete case of amnesia.
Which equates to "starting out a Life with a blank-slate".
This case of amnesia occasionally fails to "stick" completely, and therefore some people
experience inexplicable, strange phenomenons, dreams, communications with outside entities, etc.
Then "fear-of-the-unknown" kicks-in.
There are other, individual, forms of consciousnesses, or "entities" for lack of a better term,
existing in the same space as You, right this minute.
They are not necessarily any "smarter" than You are, and they are not "better" than You,
but they may normally be aware of things that You have little chance of becoming aware of
while You are having a "Human" experience.
The vast majority of them have far higher standards of Ethics than can be
easily imagined in our present limited reality.
But a few rather "Evil" ones are allowed to interact here to provide
a source of problems, or obstacles, to learn serious life-lessons from.
( if there was no ugly, how would You know what is beautiful ? )
You can't have a Game if You have the ability to instantly read your supposed opponent's Mind.
This Planet is just one giant Lab-Experiment, and You are part of it.
There is a massive Que of various Entities from all over the Galaxy eagerly waiting for
a chance at being a part of this "Lab-Experiment" called "Earth".
It's a valuable privilege to be here participating in this "Experiment".
The Moon,
being a manufactured Satellite,
which does not rotate on an axis like every single other know Moon,
and which has an extremely tight orbit, which is so tight that it is mathematically impossible,
should give You some kind of a clue that something doesn't quite add-up here.
So if You want to contemplate something deep,
I think the Moon is a better place to start.
The Moon has a far more significant effect on our lives than
something like "how old the Universe may be",
( which is just a distraction by the way, it's completely irrelevant how old it is, or if it even has an "age" ).
Ever wonder why NASA doesn't have any more Moon-Missions ?
Too many people would demand to see what's on the other side,
the side that us "mere peons" have never seen even a bad picture of.
But at this point in history,
the only thing that we would be allowed to see would be 100% CGI generated anyway,
so it's virtually a moot-point,
and the wild speculations will continue to run rampant for lack of useful concrete evidence.
The Moon is most likely the primary Entrance, and Exit Portal, of the Earth,
I think that that possibility is far more interesting, and pertinent to our Lives.

I am left speechless. There will be no useful discoveries until the pioneers get out of their tiny bubble
and start taking into consideration "The World of Woo-Woo".
…
Maybe I should have spoken anyway. The "Big-Bang-Theory" is a purposeful distraction.
It is a distraction from the numerous other, more "spiritually" oriented stories,
all of which have been bastardized to one degree or another, or buried in the basement of the Vatican
…
I'm glad we are likely just a simulation in some alien kids gaming device. The previous universe ended in 2012, this new universe is getting weird.Maybe I should have spoken anyway.
If You repeat a Lie often enough, and make it grandiose enough, people will start to believe that it's true,
especially when You present it as the agreed upon consensus
These declarations have no value other than providing
an supposed "official" and "credible" explanation,
that requires no further research or effort on your part.
This is for the people that have been terribly confused, and misled,
The irony is that the physicists are all in on it and laugh at our confusion.I'm glad we are likely just a simulation in some alien kids gaming device. The previous universe ended in 2012, this new universe is getting weird.
The Moon rotates on its axis every 27 days, how else would it keep the same face pointed toward the earth at all times? The Moon,
being a manufactured Satellite,
which does not rotate on an axis like every single other know Moon,
and which has an extremely tight orbit, which is so tight that it is mathematically impossible,
should give You some kind of a clue that something doesn't quite add-up here.
.Why did you make this political? You did describe it pretty good though.
