TFT LCD 1.8" 128x160 ST7735 (connector??)

I'm looking for the same information.
I suppose that one has also to build some circuit to support the display. I suspect that it will not work buy simply plugging it in with some special connector.

My TFT 1.44" ST7735 has some (very simple) circuitry in a PCB behind the display:

I thought that I have to add somehow similar additional components... so, I'm wrong...
Did you made yet some tests?

The circuit on the PCB is for the SD card, I think.
I have mine welded to a custom PCB. I have it connected directly to the SPI Bus on a ESP8266 board.

Mmmmh... not sure... it is named as a "cable adapter", so it should work for flexible circuits and "ribbon" cable too.
I think the main difficult is to cut your flexible contacts to match perfectly the expected width of the cable, this will ensure that the cable is firmly hold in position by the connector.
