Hello im trying to make a tester that will send a test plus down 16 individual lines to an LED on each end on there line. I was using a 555 timer and a 4017 but this is only a decade counter.... is there a way i can get at leas 16 counts out of a chip. if so can you please tell mi what chip o some way i can get atleast 16 individual counts or pulses to some LED's. basicaly im going to be testing continuity on some cable connections. thanks.
