Hello!
I did try looking up this chip by id and general description to no success. I'm not a pro or even novice, but I REALLY want to revive this MOBO of Panasonic FZ-G1.
I'd like to continue my own research, but I need to be certain what this is that is getting hot when PS is connected and if this is working as intended. Please see attached images. ANY help will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for looking this up and sharing!
But I don't think this is it. My chip measures 3.1x2.9 mm, smaller than packages in the datasheet. Besides, all pins but one connect to one of two lanes, so my guess this is "merely" a power switch.
Still, thank you!

These are MOSFETs in an MSOP-8/narrow TSSOP-8 package.
2814 is most likely the date code
4A1 is a likely SMD short code, but doesnt match to anything so far, could be manufacturer specific internal.
606L is the likely device code
The lack of a manufacturer logo suggests a generic far-east manufactured part. All links so far come up blank.

What tablet is it?
