Dear Community,
I have a question regarding probes/methods when measuring system-level average power/current.
The system consists of microcontrollers and multiple valves, including solenoid valves. My plan is to use two probes to measure the voltage across a 1-ohm in series resistor on the O-Scope when the system is on, as described here.
However later I also learn about the current differential probe specifically used for current measurement. Should I consider persuading my boss to get a current probe for the current test? I do not understand why those are that expensive!
Thanks for reading!-Yumeka
