    Hello everyone,
i want to redesign an old measurement system i made. For this i want to add a lock in amplifier. The system is generating a frequency sweep with discrete steps from 100kHz to 1MHz.
Currently i use an AD5930 to generate the signal, which works quite well, but this signal generator can not be phase adjusted. For the lock in amplifier i need an addition 90° Phase shifted signal.
This is why i want to switch to the AD9837. This DDS doesn't have the comfortable sweep function but that shouldn't be a problem. I want to sync two AD9837 by switching the master clock to both DDS off when programming and on after deactivating the reset mode on both DDS. This should create a synced output on both.
I would like to here your thoughts on this.
    Best regards,
    Christian
