Superheterodyne AM Reciever

Hello, Im trying to build a L.O. with a 42IF300 transformer from mouser with a SA602 double balanced mixer and oscillator IC. Basically Im working on a superheterodyne AM reciever.I was expecting to be able to put an o-scope on pin 6 and get a frequency that is 455khz higher than the RF.Highest frequency I get with my L.O. configuration is 1500KHz using a 141/60pF capacitor.I realize the info Ive left is vague but if anyone is familiar with this any info properly constructing a L.O. for a superheterodyne AM reciever would be wonderful.

Hello,

Pin 6 is the input for the oscillator.
Pin 7 is the output for the oascillator.
The oscillator signal is very weak and can only be measured using a buffer.
See figure 6 in the attached datasheet for more info.
