My breakfast this morning: "Torta de Barbacoa con aguacate y huevo estrellado" ... man it's really, really hard to lose weight in this place ...

As a side note, down here barbacoa is an entirely different thing from what most people in the US (and also in parts of South America) understand as BBQ.
Down here barbacoa refers to a slow-cooked cow head, and its meat consists mostly of cheek, tongue, and in some cases (definitely not this one), even the eyes!

Controversy? No way in hell I would pay $18 for Spam Fried Rice. Spam fried rice should be on the hotel breakfast buffet menu at my upcoming Hawaii vacation. I'm sure to get some there.

My dad always said that more than two thirds of what you pay is the place, the sevice and the seasoning ... ingredients usually come last.
