Man ... I've just had a molar removed today ... and an base implant installed. I've been eating nothing but ice cream all day, plus a couple of buttered scrambled eggs ... This thread is torturing me!

Wait until the actual implant is attached! Takes forever to heal as they have to cut away the gum which grew over the screw.

My dentist used a new technique that prevents that from happening. Or at least that's what I understood. ... I'll let you know how it went
