gamja hot dog

I am one of those people who view a hot dog as a food group. Google brought up several well rated places to find Korean Corn Dogs and I don't know why they use "corn" in the name since all the recipes I read do not use corn meal but rather flour in the batter. A simple Google of " korean corn dogs near me" yielded what looks to be some good results. Some just regular hot dog joints but a few show promise. Also seeing some good looking recipes on the assorted foodie sights. :)

In the US, deep-frying is an underappreciated cooking technique. The secret to delicious, non-greasy foods is to dial in the proper temperature and cooking time. As well as a fryer that can retain temperature (don't overfill your vat with too much cold food).

Not with me. Heck I buy peanut oil in 5 gallon jugs. I like peanut oil for the higher temperatures. No reservation with deep frying a chicken or whole turkey. :)
