Neat but I'll stick to plain old Debian.
Not native Solus. But you can run the Budgie desktop on a 32 bit Ubuntu installation.

Did a quick test look great seems to be fast and accept some 3e party software.
However; I did not try to install wine (in mint 18.3 => wine will run my Kicad bom generator written in the old VB6)

It even installed on my old hp6540/ asus m6000.
No drivers needed all under the Solus hood. Installing HP from usb and m6000 from dvd.
The units are much faster then win xp and win 7.
Kicad running , mplab running, librecad running.
Even more internet surfing speed when I replaced firefox with opera.
I am extremely impressed.
Next step Wine next week or so.
Will keep you informed.
