Hello,
I would like to use the solar panel from the below circuit - screenshot picture attached - to turn on the circuit when the solar panel reads about 100mv.
I have made the circuit and it works fine, but it turns on the LED too soon. Still not quite dark. In using the one with the NIMH batteries.
When I measure the voltage from the solar panel (disconnected from the circuit) at the darkness level I would like it to turn on, the solar panel reads about 100mv.
Is there a simple way to do this? Maybe using a Mofset since it is voltage based? I can't seem to figure it out.
And I don't want to use a LDR.
Here is the website where I found the circuit.

Any help would be appreciated!
