Social Distancing Problems

Today again i had a problem with someone who did not want to "social" distance themselves from me and gave me a bunch of bs when i said something about it. This is the second time now at the same store.
Any ideas?
Eat lots of beans and pickled eggs. Then you will have no problem with people wanting to invade your social space.
Regards,
Keith

Because they also create problems, such as eczema, hyperventilation, and spread of the respirator goo they collect from the wearers onto stuff they touch. Any intervention MUST be evaluated for positive and negative effects. It is simply dishonest not to do that. As I mentioned in another post, serious eye infections with normal respiratory flora seem to be increased in some mask wearers.

Did you even read the abstract? It was mostly if not solely about masks. I am waiting for anyone who has access to the original article to present basic facts about the design, data, and conclusions.

Because it has been protocol for many decades. The evidence for effectiveness is very weak (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4480558/ ). Perhaps most important, surgeons are not continually adjusting their masks during surgery and then transmitting the collected goo to the patients.
So then you agree, if the doctors did not do the negative stuff you talk about then masks would be effective.

But go down to the local hospital and tell all the doctors they dont have to wear masks anymore. There is no danger of getting any vapor they exhale into the open cuts they had to make in the patients body.

It is not that hard to disinfect a mask either, but i rotate my masks so when i go out i am using one that has not been used for a week or more.

The mask is not so much for the person wearing it, it is more for the person who could get infected next. CLEARLY, the vapor from the mouth does not travel as far with the mask as without the mask.

But you are free not to wear one as long as your area has not mandated the use. Around here everyone wears one. If you dont, they wont let you in some stores.

I was originally talking about social distancing though not masks.

I have an existing lung condition so I s'pose I'm biased a bit, but just look at the spread of this bug! If I get it, most likely I will die.
It is not hard to social distance and wear a mask. If you are convinced it is all bogus, why not just wear a mask to help calm those of us who have been sucked in by this hoax?

My location is in Victoria, Australia. A couple of hours North of Melbourne. Down there they have an outbreak and we up here are "safe" so far, but I wear a mask as it only takes one visitor to start it off.
Last week, we had one such visitor in out area. A police trainer came up from Melbourne hold a training course and it was found he had it. So, now about 20 of our local police are in quarantine.
This is spread easily and folk that just ignore it and deny the problem are a worry. This is demonstrated to the world by those in America who do not want to be told by any government authority what to do. And that is not to mention the push by some government authorities to just go ahead and open everything and let it take its course!
Wearing a mask has been shown to help, and studies here confirm that. I am mystified by those who deny this, and just wonder why they are being so selfish.
Still, some folk will not do as advised no matter what the reason. It is all "My Rights" and they forget "My Responsibilities"!

Here ends my rant ;)

Oh I definitely wear masks.
But for the life of me every time I enter a brick and mortar store the door says to push in big bold capital letters. What do you think I do... I pull never fails. I like that low cognitive ability cuz I don't know what the heck they're talking about. Wait a minute... this is not tonight's libation. Never mind what I have said...later guys. :p

The local Walmart has their doors backwards, entrance on the left, exit on the right. I'm constantly surprised by the number of people who go in and out the wrong doors. Guess they don't know how to read, or don't care. Either way, they look like idiots.

You cannot change human behavior easily. You cannot make a stupid person smart overnight. It s hardwired in their brains.

That is so helpful. :p
Now why didn't I think of that?
He he, yeah.
I stay home as much as possible now. I even got a new refrigerator so i could store more stuff at home and not have to go out as often to the grocery store.
Delivery here used to be very affordable, but it changed as they hiked up the fees and also i dont think they have it anymore because of the virus for the local grocery stores. Even Whole Foods cut back but i hate that place anyway :)

At least you could get it. I live in a rural area and delivery isn't readily available. Home Depot and landscaping places will deliver, but not a single grocery store or food place. Guess we could use something like Grubhub, but they'll expect big tips or your next delivery will include some free spit.

Do you have Instacart in your area?

Thanks for that.

They show two stores (Safeway and Costco) that will deliver to my zip code. Might be handy for my Mother-In-Law if she needs something my Wife didn't get her on her weekly shopping trip.
Your M-I-L can get almost all her groceries delivered. Their shoppers will call while in the store if something is not available or they need clarification. Your wife then just has to fill in. It’s a wonderful service that I recommend.

Oh sorry to hear that.
Do you have Uber Eats?
