smith chart

Hi guys

I am learning pcb antenna turning with smith chart.

I came cross this tool here, it seem to be pretty good.

So I went through the instruction, and I find that I can turn the antenna with two different way, but according to the White paper here fro Nordic (P13, P14)

No example matching network in the white paper is two caps network (one in series and one shunt, the right hand side one in the follow picture). They all look like the one on the left hand side.

My question is, is the one on the right hand side allowed? will that work? or just something over look from the author?
