I'm needing a wire connector type that has a small pitch (>2.0mm, ideally) that has both wire-to-wire and wire-to-board variants. I initially considered the JST PH series, but later, I discovered the SH series since it is so much smaller. However, I then discovered that neither of these has a male crimp-on variant. After looking around, I found the ACH series. This looked promising, but I just realized that the wire-to-wire female plug is different from the wire-to-board plug. *Sigh . . . * Is there such a thing as a wire-to-wire and wire-to-wire connector series that uses the same female connectors for both board and wire connectors? I've been scouring Digikey and Mouser, but no luck.
Thanks!
Edit: I'm kinda leaning away from Molex because from things I've read, they're harder to properly crimp without official tools (and I'm not in the position to throw down $300-500 for a special-purpose tool).
