I must preface this with I am not an engineer, not even close. I am however learning all the time, and I find forums such as this often encourage asking for help and advice.
I am looking for a small motion sensor to install which will activate a strip of LED lights. Small in size and range is what I am looking for. Preferably something that is around a cubic inch or two at most and with a range of around 6-8 inches. Most I have seen have range in multiple feet, which is way more than I need and will likely be problematic. Can anyone recommend something like this for me to locate and purchase?
I will likely have follow ups about how best to connect this, but one step at a time. Thank you in advance.
