I started a new project which includes comuunication between small devices.
The issue: I need to use only mini devices for this project (especially at reciever side).
Is it possible? which known products already exists in that area?

There are several IC-solution for PLM. The transmission speed is a parameter for different typs of solution. For low speed ther is the PLM from ST: http://www.st.com/web/catalog/sense_power/FM1968/SC923 . For higher speed you could search for DSL chip sets.

 

Look up X-10 communication protocol.

 

There are commercial solutions for turning your home wiring into an ethernet network. They're not expensive.
