Isn't this the place that just helped develop low current, room temperature super conductors out of some sort of barium (or beryllium I cant remember) compound. It is supposedly due to the hall effect, making it so small amounts of electrons can travel over the surface of the material with no resistance...It could be very interesting for a whole new relm of IC design...

To the best of my knowledge there is no such thing as a room temperature superconductor. It remains the holy grail of this kind of research, and would make big news if it were developed.

This X-Ray Laser is something else, I understand some of what I read about it, but not everything.
