Caught this guy in broad daylight digging holes in my garden path.
Any suggestions on how to get rid of him? He's been back three times today and tonight, digging the same holes as fast as I can fill them in, looking for ants.

Just a suggestion, but you could get yourself one of those long-range water guns, and fill it with ammonia-based window cleaning fluid. Aim at its nose. I'm sure that the critter won't come back after that, at least for a while.

 

I am going to attempt an electronic solution to the "Skunk Repellant".
I will use an ultrasonic range finder to detect presence of the animal and fire off a water jet at it.
For starters, I will omit the water spray and try emitting ultrasonic noise at it with a piezo transducer.

Are you sure that won't actually attract him and his pals?

Maybe I should play some anti-skunk music, such as, "Dead skunk in the middle of the road"?

 

Try to get rid of the ants first then try cayenne pepper in the mounds where he stuffs his snout.
