If you have access to Microsoft EXCEL. I recommend you use it to graph the functions? I have had good success with this approach.

Let me know if you have access to MS EXCEL and I will be glad to help you further if you still need assistance.

Good Luck

hi,
i need help to draw this circuit, please...
v(t)= 35 cos (150t+25deg)
v(t)= 20 cos (150t+50deg)

thanks.

In the attachment are the calculations for the circuit in series: R, C and signal generator
One mesures the voltage across the capacitor to get the equations:
v(t)= 35 cos (150t+25deg)
v(t)= 20 cos (150t+50deg)

After I saw that there was a fault. It needs to choose a RL circuit to get the equations:
v(t)= 35 cos (150t+25deg)
v(t)= 20 cos (150t+50deg)

When one choose RC circuit then the equations would be:
v(t)= 35 cos (150t-25deg)
v(t)= 20 cos (150t-50deg)

Then again new calculations done in the attachment: rl.pdf

thans a lot it is exactly what i needed i am working on it and my values are much different than yours, i hvae 2.76 ohm resistor and j5.90 capacitor actually i made a mistake in my original posting equation the correct equation is
v(t)= 35 cos (150t+25deg)
i(t)= 25 cos (150t+50deg)
and i am not suppose to use function generator only resistor, caps or inductor
this is what circuit should look like.

35V |-------------------/\/\/\/\--------------| |---------|
(AC) | 25A |
------------------------------------------------------- |
any help will be greatly appreciated....
