Hi dudes

i am trying to replace an old IMO Jaguar cub inverter that is slowly dying on me. This one is a inverter converter with a single phase 230vac supply with is running a 3 phase vibrator motor. The question i have is will the link i have attached be sufficient enough? The inverter that is failing is a 7Amp 1.5kw motor with variable speed although speed is set and never changed. I am just a little confused about how RS have laid out the explanation of this. Is it single phase in with 3 phase out?

cheers

It is a variation of a standard VFD, 230 1ph in - 3ph out.
You could get a small standard VFD, if the original is not obtainable.
The RS unit should also work, they have models up to 10HP.
Max.

Great Max thanks the controls of this panel are quite old by today's standards and the current cub inverter that i have is taking up way more space in the panel that it needs to. Can the new inverter from the link i attached be set up for remote push button switching on and off?

It looks like it is controlled by 0-10v variable, 4 digital inputs, set by parameter. 1 relay output, it is also capable of RS485/Modbus.

Just be aware that when using to convert single phase to three phase with these(VFD), it's usually advised to pick the next higher rating than the motor is. Like, 2HP VFD to run a 1HP motor.
